How build own operate removes power capex from the developer

Developers want reliable estate power without putting generation assets on their balance sheet. The operating model is what makes that possible.

Power is often the item that stalls an otherwise ready estate. Solar arrays, battery containers, distribution, and metering are utility grade costs. They compete with roads, water, and housing for the same capital.

Build own operate separates those two jobs. Pathmark Energy designs, funds, and constructs the plant. We retain ownership and run operations. The developer keeps capital on real estate, not on inverters and fuel stores.

Residents then pay for the energy they use through prepaid meters. The plant is recovered over the operating life of the asset, not as an upfront levy on the first buyers.

This only works if the engineering is sized correctly from day one. Load profiling, phasing, and common area demand have to be in the design before civil works lock the plant footprint.

If you are planning a new phase or a retrofit, the useful first step is an estate power assessment. That study tells us whether a compact hybrid plant can carry the homes you intend to meter.
